Dani Shafer, Senior Manager of Culinary/Head Chef

Chef Dani Shafer comes to Meals on Wheels with 15 years of experience.    From dishwasher to executive chef they have worked every position in the kitchen and have found the most purpose using their talents to serve the senior community.  Their favorite food to cook is comfort foods and delicious breakfasts.  Dani is so excited to join the Meals on Wheels team to create delicious meals for our community members and foster a positive environment for everyone called to do this work. 

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dani and their partner moved to Colorado in 2019.  They enjoy traveling in their camper van and spending time with their 2 senior dogs Sunshine and Luna.  Their hobbies include geology, birdwatching, videography and stargazing.
