Annie Palius, Executive Support Coordinator
After more than forty years working in the legal field, Annie finally retired in 2021. However, she is no novice when it comes to working/volunteering in the non-profit world. Annie spent 20 years working with Girl Scouts of Colorado, as a leader, service unit manager and trainer of leaders. Volunteering for several years with the fundraising arm of Boulder’s Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (womens’ shelter) provided her with a wealth of knowledge of the needs of women and children in abusive situations and just how crucial meeting the financial goals are to providing those needs. Serving as Co-Chair of East Boulder County’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life was yet another way of serving her community. Collaborating with numerous teams, sponsors and participants was a wonderful experience. Working at CCMOW has been the most fulfilling of them all. Her whole family volunteers here. Her husband Steve has been a driver for almost 12 years and her daughter Claire works in the café and kitchen! It’s a family affair!
